ATRAK-MON (ATC Monitoring System)

ATRAK-MON® is an ATC monitoring system that provides a graphical user interface to the ATC system administrator enabling an “at a glance” view of the status of any ATC server or controller working position. The ATRAK- MON system is powered by a platform-independent engine that monitors packets sent over a TCP network using UDP protocol. This ensures a minimal load, both on the monitored side and on the network. The main features of ATRAK- MON include: -

• Monitoring of Individual processes
• Monitoring of Multiple processes on each workstation
• Supports fetching error messages based on error codes that the monitored processes transmit
• Customizable colours for each state of process/ workstation
• Support for grouping of workstations into "positions"
• Hardware configuration is read at runtime
• Software configuration is read on demand and allows disabling/enabling of processes and positions

Multiple instances can be run on one machine, listening on different ports, with different configurations, and the on-screen position configurable in the config file or command line.

Allows configurable actions to be carried out from the main screen such as: -

• Stop/start
• Reboot
• Shutdown
• Terminal

Sophisticated logging of the incoming messages

Each monitoring system can carry three pieces of

• Hostname
• Process name
• Error Code

Sophisticated logging and configuration facilities allows different intervals for detecting failures of different items
