ATRAK-IMS/PLUS (ATC Information Management, Executive & Planning Control System)

The ATRAK-IMS/PLUS® system provides all the functionality of ATRAK-IMS and ATRAK-EC/PC but combined within one single server configuration and switchable, high resolution 30” monitor.

The ATRAK-IMS/PLUS system is configured as:

• A fully functional ATC Information Management system
• A fully functional ATC Executive & Planning Control system

ATRAK-IMS/PLUS comprises three core elements for
operation:-

• Server
• Radar Workstation
• Web Server

The ATRAK-IMS/PLUS server provides both the core Information Data Processing system (IDP) and Flight Data Processing system (FDP) integration as well as the ATRAK-IMS data integration of dynamic and static data from the various feeds into the system. . The IDP, FDP and IMS data is processed in the background by the ATRAK-IMS/PLUS server and is then delivered to the corresponding ATRAK-IMS/PLUS workstation.

The ATRAK-IMS/PLUS radar workstation comprises of a dual processor ATRAK-IMS/PLUS workstation supporting the ATRAK digital video interface and ATRAK digital ATC displays. The display keyboard and mouse is extended to operate remotely from the workstation via the ATRAK Desktender ensuring total security and system integrity of the workstations and servers that are housed in dedicated server racks away from the control rooms.

ATRAK-IMS/PLUS uses an ATRAK web server to supply airport and FIR information (Meteo, NOTAMs etc.), emergency procedures etc. The location of the web server can be configured as required. Switching between the IMS and EC/PC systems is handled by the ATRAK-IMS/PLUS switching controller and panel.
